The Secret

The primary ingredients of Emu Oil are fatty acids ranging from C12 (Lauric acid) through to C20 (Gadoleic acid). In terms of its benefits for human use, it is the way in which these acids bond together to form a unique Triglyceride that enables the oil to have such effective uses. Of the main fatty acids contained in Emu Oil, Oleic acid and Linoleic acid are responsible for Emu Oils’ best features.

Oleic acid has long been known as a skin cell regenerator. Typically Emu Oil is 45 to 55% Oleic acid.

Linoleic acid is known as anti-inflammatrant and has been synthesized for several years. Typically Emu Oil contains 10 to 15% Linolenic acid.
